Three fold post...

1. Yes, the first is Hailey, second is Ashlyn on the previous post. And Amber, both of the girls have blue eyes. There'd be trouble if they didn't :)
2. Derek and I had our third anniversary earlier this week. To most this may seem small, but it feels like such a wonderful long time. It seems to have gone so quickly. We have had so many blessings since 2005. I am grateful for all of them, including the trials. I am so greatful for Derek. He is an amazing husband and father. There is no one better!! I am so aprreciative of what we have had already and look forward to the rest of eternity!!
3. Men at work!! This last weekend was the Pinewood Derby in our Stake. Derek is the cub master, and his good friend Jeremy is in it with him. They had a great time helping the boys and making their own cars too. They put in a lot of time, and made some great cars! The boys really had a good time at the derby. Pics below

Finally... Hailey's 2nd Birthday!

It is so amazing how quickly children grow. Back on January 24th Hailey had her 2nd birthday. Sadly for her, dad had the flu and mom thought she had the flu (it was mastitis) so her birthday was a little less exciting. Luckily, a few days before, our playgroup got together and had a birthday party for about 5 or 6 children who were having birhtdays at the end of January, so I think it made up for it! I got to make both of the cakes, even though they aren't very good, maybe I'll make a Barbie cake better next year when I don't have a fever and chills!

Potty Trained!!

So after many hints from Hailey that she wanted to go on the big girl potty, Derek and I have potty trained Hailey. I hate to jinx it, but no accidents for two days and she goes without needing any help!! Why I waited so long, I'll never know. Not to say that it wasn't stressful. Also, sorry to the family for not having put any pictures of Hailey's birthday two weeks ago. I haven't quite figured out how to get photos of our new video camera, but Derek says he will help me today! I promise I'll put some up!
