Rachel Ray... over a week late!

Last week 15 girls from our ward went to New York to see the Rachel Ray show. Yes, it has taken me over a week to actually put it on the blog, but at least I am doing it!! It was my first time to New York and it was a lot of fun to ride the ferry, take the subway (maybe not so fun), see time square, and see the show! It was especially exciting to sit on the front row at Rachel Ray. It sounds fun, but a good portion of the time I couldn't even see due to the cameras in front of me. I did get to sit next to 2 of Rachel's guests though, so I guess there are perks. I just hope I don't look like a terrible fool on camera! It was really fun to have a day with the big girls and leave my little girls at home with Daddy!

Ashlyn's Blessing

Today Derek was able to bless Ashlyn in church. It was a beautiful blessing. I made another blessing dress for Ashlyn too. Thank you Jordan for all of your great advice and help with the dress!!

Big girl bed!!

Hailey has been sooo great going to her "big girl bed". From the first night we put her in the big bed, she's stayed all night. I am really excited to get Ashlyn in the crib now, she's sleeping through the night too!!

Ashlyn is cooing and smiling all the time... I can't believe she's 2 months old already!!

Halloween at the Church

Last night we went to our ward Halloween party at the church. It was a lot of fun to see the kids dressed up. Derek and I went as pirates, Hailey was a cute little witch and Ashlyn was just plain cute in her Halloween outfit!!

1. If you were to ask my husband, he would say I was BEYOND o.c.d. I have the wierdest habits, including cleanliness, strange eating, coordinating my closet, and the time on the microwave to name a few.

3. I am a sucker for my husband. I get so excited when he finally tells me something that he wants, that I have to get it! He never tells me he wants anything!

4. I love to cook. Not that I am that great, but I enjoy it and love to try new things! Anyone have any good recipes?

5. I was born on the 4th of July. This year I spent it on a house boat with my family. They gave me a pretty flag cake and everything! Thanks!!

6. I hate these stupid things because I never have anything cute or exciting to say like I see everyone else do!
