Hailey goes to Preschool

Today I took my little Hailey to preschool. We have a couple of girls in our ward that teach and are great! Hailey loves talking about going to school, "like daddy," but going is another story. She put up a bit of a fit! When we got there she was quiet and shy, as expected. When she came home she said that she had fun and got treasure (a little prize) treats, played games, and oh, did I mention peed her pants!?! I felt soooo bad. Not only because my friends had to clean it up, but that I hadn't thought to ask her before I left her, and that I was so upset she had peed. She has been potty trained for 9 months and we have had maybe 3 accidents, over 6 months ago. It never crossed my mind. Now I know, my shy little girl won't even tell her good pal Miss Annette when she has to go potty in a big unfamiliar crowd. Other than that, she talked about school with great reviews. I think once she is settled in to her new little group of class mates life will be great. She is already talking about how she wants to go back.

Date Night!!

So after a summer without dates, it is back to a routine and date nights! This year our group had 9 kids!! I will take my 1 night of babysitting for four dates though, deal. For date night this Friday we were invited to go to Dave and Busters with some friends, the Stevens and Sperrys. The food was small but good, but the fun was better. It had been a long time since I had played ski ball, did some horse and car racing, shot some baskets, and some other games. It was a blast, my only sadness was that I wasn't able to join the car race with everyone else :( Thanks for a good night!

Hailey's 1st hair cut

Last Saturday I cut Hailey's hair for the first time. I really only cut about 2-3 inches of the back so that her hair would be even, but I love her cute little bob. Hopefully it will keep getting thicker!

Ashlyn is One!!

Ashlyn's birthday was great. We were invited to a BBQ for labor day, and we had some people over in the evening for Ashlyn. Thanks to everyone who was able to come. Ashlyn loved her cake, she dug into it! Unfortunately, most pictures we took all look like everything is moving and we only have a few. She really liked her cabbage patch doll too, Hailey is always taking it from her though! My favorite things about Ashlyn are: 1. she is so easy going. 2. she is so independent (okay, sometimes I enjoy this) 3. she gives kisses with the mmwwaa sound 4. she laughs all of the time 5. she stands up for herself. 6.
