Hailey is 3!

This year we decided it was time to have some friends over to help Hailey celebrate turning 3. It is hard in the winter to come up with anything that will fit people in my house! I can't wait for the day I live somewhere big enough to invite all the friends and parents Hailey wants over. Hailey requested a castle cake, so I decided to go with it and we made little crowns for the kids that they got to put jewels on, some royal jewelry and eat pizza, cake and ice cream. Hailey had a great time with some of her friends and is really enjoying birthdays now that she really gets the concept. She keeps asking whose birthday is next. We topped the day off with the ward Paperbowl. Remember that game you used to play with a little paper football in class? Yes, that's the one, and Derek won this year. I guess it's his year for football, since he also won his Fantasy league with his friends from home.

Happy Birthday Hailey! Won't it be great to have three kids 3 and under? (I was just grateful not to have three kids 2 and under ;) Sounds like a fun party. Although I do agree with you that it's much harder to come up with fun birthday parties when it's January and you live in small places. You're so creative though that I don't doubt that it was fabulous as always!

Hailey's hair has gotten sooo long! Good job on the cake! I was so glad when I read that you guys kept the adult pinata tradition. We wanted to take one to Idaho, but there was so space! I missed the pinata this year.
